Personal Assistant Required

A Personal assistant is required to support an outgoing adult male with physical disabilities in the community. Some weekend working is necessary - hours can be discussed. Main duties will be to support with transport (driver preferred but not essential) and to attend various appointments and activities in the community.

Personal Assistant support required

A Personal Assistant (PA) is required to support a young disabled gentleman in the Urmston area.

The tasks are to enable the gentleman live in his own home, support with cooking, domestic tasks, access social activities of his choice and support with personal care.

Working hours:
16.5hrs hours at £7.80 per hour
Sleep over at £40
Plus extra shifts are to cover sickness, holidays etc.

Immediate start available.

Must be flexible and be able to work in a team,

Personal Assistant required to work in Sale.

An eleven year old boy with Down's syndrome requires a personal assistant to support him to and from weekly swimming lessons (the personal assistant does not need to get into the pool).

Hours: 2 hours per week Thursday 3.00 - 5.00 pm. Possibility extra hours on Saturday mornings.

Pay: £7.98ph

Personal Assistant to support young gentleman

A kind, patient personal assistant is required to support a young gentleman in the Flixton/Urmston Area.

To promote his Independence and access activities in the community and to assist his parents by providing care within his home. 

This position would suit a caring, reliable individual with experience and knowledge of the Social Model. This job will suit someone who is interested in Football and other sports, as he plays wheelchair football for a local club.

Some moving and handling may be required to support him in and out of the car when going out. Training can be provided for this.

The job will be based in Urmston and a clean driving licence is essential.

Hours: 6 hours per week, these will be used flexibly and will include weekend support.

Pay: £8.00 per hour gross pay.

Personal Assistant responsible to young professional disabled woman

Location: South and central Manchester, but will include frequent travelling to Liverpool.

Main purpose: To assist young, professional women with personal care, domestic tasks, administrative tasks and also social activities.

This role would be particularly suited to University students, graduates or postgraduates, and/or someone who has experience or interest in working in health and social care.

Appropriate training for the job will be given.

Main duties and responsibilities: This role requires flexibility and the ability to adapt to changing circumstances, but typical tasks would be:

  • To assist the client with personal care which includes maintaining personal hygiene, including toilet requirements.
  • To assist the client in her professional role with a range of admin tasks.
  • To assist the client in her role as a university student through various research, note taking and formatting roles.
  • To assist with health related activities including accompanying the client to health appointments.
  • To attend various social and leisure activities and family functions when required.
  • To assist the client with personal affaires such as shopping beauty appointments etc.
  • To prepare meals, snacks and beverages when required.
  • To drive the client to and from university each week (a full driving licence is required).
  • To be able to maintain upkeep of client's car.
  • To be able to work unsociable hours is necessary.

Working hours: Working hours from 20 hours per week, Approximately 12 hours every Wednesday and 8 hours every Thursday.

Salary and benefits: £7 per hour. Holiday pay will be pro rata. This job will also provide the chance to develop a wide range of transferable skills. All travel and accommodation will be paid for if working away from home.

  • To assist the client wit personal affaires such as shopping beauty appointments etc.

  • To undertake domestic chores including laundry, ironing, organisation of clothing storage, cleaning, dusting and vacuuming of clients personal room and bathroom.
  • To assist with transport to local amenities.
  • To be able to maintain upkeep of client's car.
  • To be able to work unsociable hours is necessary.

Working hours: working approximately 16/17 hours per alternate week (one week on, one week off). Friday 8am - 6 pm, Saturday and Sunday 10am - 2pm. Flexibility is required as there may be early starts or late finishes on occasion.

Female Personal Assistant required for a lady in Stretford

Joining a small team of staff, the ideal candidate will assist the lady with her daily needs and requirements in relation to her visual impairment and autism. With a full driving licence, the PA will support the lady in her home and in the community on a part time, flexible basis for at least 2 days per week.

Duties: 

1.  Attention to personal grooming: care of hair, nails, feet etc.

2.  Daily exercises which will include health, swimming and walking.

3.  Assistance with all meals, including preparation.

4.  Support to complete domestic tasks

5.  Support to attend appointments and leisure activities.

6.  Driving the provided car to support with transport

7.  Support to complete cane training, in preparation for a Guide Dog

Pay: Between £7.50 and £8.45 per hour

Hours: To be mutually agreed. Shift patterns are either 9am-5pm or 5pm to 9pm. Occasional sleepover may be required.

Female Personal Assistant required in the Stretford Area.

To support a young lady with Learning Difficulties, who is living in the Stretford area.

Interests and hobbies include; Music, Singing &Dancing, Theatre, Bowling, Cinema, Shopping and a variety of many other interests.

Support would include:
