Personal Assistant required in Sale Moor

A Personal Assistant is required to support a young disabled lady in the Sale Moor area to access University in Bolton.

You will also be required to provide support with the school run, and other tasks i.e. shopping, attending appointments.

Hours to be flexible, and additional hours possible (to be discussed at interview).

Main times required are below, but open to negotiation.

Tuesday 8:45-9:45am and 4:30-6pm
Wednesday 8:45-9:45am and 4:15-5:30pm
Friday 7:50-8:45 and 12noon/3pm (depending on the lecture) for 30-45 mins.
Term time routine, but possible visits during academic holiday periods.

Ideally applicants will have a driving license and access to a vehicle. All mileage costs will be covered and can be negotiated.

Personal Assistant required in Stretford

A personal assistant is required to support and work with an elderly lady with limited mobility in her own home. Required is a friendly, mature, enthusiastic and dedicated P.A with experience in care and support to help and assist with morning and evening routines. 

The job is based in the Stretford area and would suit a confident person who can work on their own initiative also with similar interests such as sewing and gardening (Interested Applicants will be sent a Job Description).

Personal Assistant to Support a Young Male in Dunham Massey

A personal assistant is required to support a young male in the Dunham Massey area.

The individual will be supported in line with his care plan to access a variety of activities which promote social inclusion, accessing the community and allow him to gain independent living skills.

This role would suit a calm, kind, reliable person with good motivation skills and the ability to initiate activities, with a good sense of humour. 

The ideal candidate would have an interest in computing, video games, music, the playing of instruments such as guitar and drums.

The client will be supported flexibly throughout the year, for a total of 84 hours at £8.00 per hour, possibly to include some weekends.

Personal Assistant Required

Personal Assistant support required

Personal Assistant required to work in Sale.

An eleven year old boy with Down's syndrome requires a personal assistant to support him to and from weekly swimming lessons (the personal assistant does not need to get into the pool).

Personal Assistant to support young gentleman

A kind, patient personal assistant is required to support a young gentleman in the Flixton/Urmston Area.

To promote his Independence and access activities in the community and to assist his parents by providing care within his home. 

This position would suit a caring, reliable individual with experience and knowledge of the Social Model. This job will suit someone who is interested in Football and other sports, as he plays wheelchair football for a local club.

Some moving and handling may be required to support him in and out of the car when going out. Training can be provided for this.

The job will be based in Urmston and a clean driving licence is essential.

Hours: 6 hours per week, these will be used flexibly and will include weekend support.

Pay: £8.00 per hour gross pay.

Location: South and central Manchester, but will include frequent travelling to Liverpool.

Main purpose: To assist young, professional women with personal care, domestic tasks, administrative tasks and also social activities.

This role would be particularly suited to University students, graduates or postgraduates, and/or someone who has experience or interest in working in health and social care.

Appropriate training for the job will be given.

Main duties and responsibilities: This role requires flexibility and the ability to adapt to changing circumstances, but typical tasks would be:

  • To assist the client with personal care which includes maintaining personal hygiene, including toilet requirements.
  • To assist the client in her professional role with a range of admin tasks.
  • To assist the client in her role as a university student through various research, note taking and formatting roles.
  • To assist with health related activities including accompanying the client to health appointments.
  • To attend various social and leisure activities and family functions when required.
  • To assist the client with personal affaires such as shopping beauty appointments etc.
  • To prepare meals, snacks and beverages when required.
  • To drive the client to and from university each week (a full driving licence is required).
  • To be able to maintain upkeep of client's car.
  • To be able to work unsociable hours is necessary.

Working hours: Working hours from 20 hours per week, Approximately 12 hours every Wednesday and 8 hours every Thursday.

Working hours: working approximately 16/17 hours per alternate week (one week on, one week off). Friday 8am - 6 pm, Saturday and Sunday 10am - 2pm. Flexibility is required as there may be early starts or late finishes on occasion.

Female Personal Assistant required for a lady in Stretford

Joining a small team of staff, the ideal candidate will assist the lady with her daily needs and requirements in relation to her visual impairment and autism. With a full driving licence, the PA will support the lady in her home and in the community on a part time, flexible basis for at least 2 days per week.

Duties: 

1.  Attention to personal grooming: care of hair, nails, feet etc.

2.  Daily exercises which will include health, swimming and walking.

3.  Assistance with all meals, including preparation.

4.  Support to complete domestic tasks

5.  Support to attend appointments and leisure activities.

6.  Driving the provided car to support with transport

7.  Support to complete cane training, in preparation for a Guide Dog

Pay: Between £7.50 and £8.45 per hour

Hours: To be mutually agreed. Shift patterns are either 9am-5pm or 5pm to 9pm. Occasional sleepover may be required.

Interests and hobbies include; Music, Singing &Dancing, Theatre, Bowling, Cinema, Shopping and a variety of many other interests.

Support would include:
